Much myth and legend surrounds the sausage and bun we simply call the Hotdog. Our aim here at GunDogs is to take all the history of America’s favorite handheld delight, and introduce subtle, and not-so-subtle variations inspired by delicacies. Mixing local southern flavor, traditional northern recipes, and a few surprises along the way.
GunDogs Catering serves our guests and friends with a charm and style all our own. We strive to incorporate ingredients from local farmers in our fresh toppings and chili by attending and serving at local farmers markets. Our famous Ocracoke dog is an all-natural nitrate-free delight made right here in North Carolina.
